Digital proximity and ambient light sensor is able to sense if a surrounding object is approaching. When object is approaching to the host, sensor receives reflected infrared signal and calculate the infrared signal intensity and output the calculated result to CPU. CPU will control the host action according to the calculated result to achieve the intelligent control of the host.
